Back Comparison to Super Bowl LIII: Who Has The Advantage?

The New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams will face the Super Bowl LIII on February 3. Both teams have powerful blows that made important contributions to their offensive.

Let's take a look at which team has the advantage.

In his rookie season, Sony Michel has accumulated 209 attempts for 931 yards and six touchdowns. In the first two playoff games of his NFL career, he achieved 242 yards and five touchdowns against the Chargers of Los Angeles and the Kansas City Heads.

After leaving aside a couple of matches with a knee injury, Michel managed to reunite a pretty impressive rookie season at 100 meters in four of the 13 games he played. In each of these games, he scored at the end a touchdown.

Michel took care of the ball when in his hands, playing only once this year.

James White, in its fourth year at the NFL, has continued to be a clutch target for Tom Brady. This year he rushed for 425 yards and five touchdowns.

In his role as receiver, White bet 123 times and collected 751 yards and seven touchdowns for the Patriots.

James White is also very careful with the ball, since he has not been used this season.

Until now, in the postseason, White has not scored a touchdown.

An injury faced Burkhead earlier this season. On his return, he has been very contributing to the offense of the Patriots. Burkhead has been more segmented as a 131-yard host and a touchdown in the regular season. The statistics of his postseason are more impressive as a traditional runner that includes 53 yards and three touchdowns, up to now.

Two more names in the depth chart that have helped the Patriots offensive in the backfield are James Develin and Cordarelle Patterson. Develin, the complete back has provided a solid running room for the corridor while raising four touchdowns this season. Meanwhile, Patterson has run for 228 yards and a touchdown and can be hard to get from the defense because of his 6 '"2", 228 pound frame.

This season, Gurley has 256 attempts for 1,251 yards and 17 touchdowns as the number one in the depth chart of Rams. He has also taken 59 passes for 580 and four more touchdowns in his role as receiver. In all these works, Gurley started playing a single season.

Their post-season statistics are less impressive with just 125 and two touchdowns in the field in two games. He lost some time in the regular season with a knee injury, which has been rumored to be still annoying. Gurley's contributions to the playoffs have been unusable compared to his teammate C.J. Anderson.

After being cut by Denver Broncos, Carolina Panthers and Oakland Raiders in 2018, Anderson played only two regular season games with the Rams, where he ran for 299 yards and two touchdowns.

In both games of the postseason, he took control of Gurley with 39 attempts for 167 and 2 touchdowns more.

Anderson was clearly more effective than Gurley in the postseason.

Two of the other shoulders that appear in the depth table of Rams are Justin Davis and John Kelley. Davis is in his second season and only had two attempts for 19 yards. Kelley as a boyfriend rushed 27 times for 74 yards. It seems surprising to see that any of these spines has an advanced performance in the Super Bowl.

Certainly, the statistics and the game of Gurley are remarkable and Anderson has entered the team showing that it can transport the load.

The Patriots that run are all healthy and play by commission. Belichick explains how to stop the racing game from Rams and get the advantages of the Patriots.
